Introduction to Swami Japananda: He is the Head of the Ramakrishna Sevashram at Pavagada in Tumkur district has many awards for his service of over 30 years in healthcare. Swami Japan has been recognized for healthcare provision to the rural poor through Swami Vivekananda Integrated Health Centre, which he founded. He has waged a war against leprosy, tuberculosis, and blindness in Pavagada and Madhugiri taluks in Tumkur district and in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, in India and gives his views from a very hands-on personal perspective.
